Common questions
What should we wear?
Once you’re booked, I’ll send over my outfit guide with tips on coordinating colors, choosing flattering outfits, and avoiding patterns that distract from your photos. If you’re between a few options, I’m always happy to help you decide!
What if my kids don't cooperate?
Honestly? That’s completely normal.
I never expect little ones to sit perfectly still or smile on command. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and built around letting kids be kids. Some of the sweetest photos come from those genuine moments in between.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family, and I love including them whenever possible. Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a pet-friendly location and plan accordingly.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule at no additional cost. I keep a close eye on the forecast and will reach out if we need to make a change.
When will we receive our gallery?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks through an online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.
Can we choose our location?
Of course! If you already have a meaningful location in mind, I’d love to photograph you there. If not, I have a list of beautiful locations around Central Arkansas that photograph beautifully throughout the year.
How many people can be included?
Immediate families are included in your session. If you’d like to include grandparents, extended family, or multiple households, we can do definitely do that with an extended family session. This allows for more time to ensure we get all the different family variations captured during your session.
What happens if we get sick?
Life happens! If someone gets sick or an unexpected conflict comes up, we’ll find another date that works. My goal is for you to enjoy your session, not stress over it.
Do you help with posing?
Yes! In fact, that’s one of my favorite parts.
You don’t need to know what to do with your hands or worry about looking awkward. I’ll guide you through natural prompts and simple poses that feel comfortable while leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to happen.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope! Every session includes high-resolution digital images with personal print rights, so you’re free to print wherever you’d like. Your gallery also includes a professional print store if you’d like heirloom-quality prints delivered right to your door.
