I’m Nikki

I could use this space and say some cheesy photographer spill I’m sure makes no difference to you and you’ve heard a thousand times so I’ll save it. Yes, I’m an elopement wedding photographer which means I’m that person you text when you want to know if your partner should wear outfit A or B. I’m the one you can vent about your family drama to at the wedding and the one who will be in the weirdest crouches and throwing away all regards for back pain or safety to get that best angle.
 

 

I must confess, photography is not my only love. I also work full-time as a Director of Operations for a digital marketing company. The team I work with is unlike any other which is why I will likely never part ways. But why do I tell you this? Because this means I’m also limited on the time I can devote to my couples. I never want to sacrifice quality so I’m limited on how many couples I can take on each year. There are still many available dates for 2023, feel free to check out my calendar and see if I’m available for yours. If not, feel free to reach out, sometimes I can make exceptions.

How is ATR

Different?

Weddings are stressful enough, so why is there so much gatekeeping?! When I was planning my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I bought the planners but it was my first wedding not only to be in but going to! I remember wanting to not let the planning take away from the fun but there were people got upset with how laid back I was. They even asked if I really wanted to get married. But that was the thing, that’s all I wanted. I didn’t care about the table clothes or the shoes no one would see, all I cared about were the intimate moments between me and my soon-to-be husband. 

Why do I tell you all this? Because as an elopement wedding photographer, that’s my WHY. I want other couples to be able to truly enjoy their day and the moments that matter most while being a resource in the industry. I’m here to help guide you whether that is choosing what type of wedding you’d like, how to include loved ones, or simply what to have ready for detail shots. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident so you can enjoy your day.

Being in the outdoors is my ultimate happy place. I spend a lot of time with my work in front of the computer so when I can, I like to sneak away with my husband and enjoy Arkansas Outdoors by going side by siding, kayaking, and camping. Can you see why I love being an elopement wedding photographer so much? Waking up in 50 degrees with the birds chirping and coffee by the fire gives my soul the most inner peace. Oh yeah, and I nurture a garden every year normally containing jalapenos, tomatoes, cucumbers, and melons of sorts.
I am married to my high school sweetheart. He’s a specialized ICU nurse and we have two pups, Bo and Tink, and a feline friend, Zepellin, who basically acts as a dog.

Photography has been a hobby of mine since 2010. In 2019, I found my passion for couples, weddings & elopements. I love capturing the glistening eyes and soft kisses. Since then I submerged myself in education and experience to provide value to my clients. 

Personality:

I’m a laid back, go with the flow person. My enneagram is 5w6 which basically means I love to learn new things.
